This Empire style overmantel pierglass was made in the 19th century. The mirror is framed with golden rosettes that contrast with a beautiful magenta colour. The sides, shaped like pilasters, are decorated with acanthus leaves, and the centre of the upper part is ornamented with a chimera surrounded by vegetal patterns.
